A brief introduction on how to reach your goals and stay at the top


I have to be honest with you am not a perfect being but i must confess, I have struggled in life as an individual and therefore, seen alot of ups and downs in life.

This piece of article will take you throught the steps in reaching your goals, how to maintain those goals and how to stay at the top with your goals.

How do you feel when you ride a bicycle ? As a young boy when I went to my home town to see my old folks and family once during festive periods, I always thought riding a bicycle was the easiest thing in the world; wait till i got on one, boy I was WRONG, then it all started, anytime I saw my aunts leave their bicycles I go grab it and ride need to ask someone to please hold for me so i can ride, as a 13 year old it wasn’t easy but I kept believing I would get it right, sometimes I have this great fall that send sores to my not too handsome body other days I’ll end up hitting someone’s pot may be my grand ma’s and of course you know the rest.

The turning point came when I discovered my younger siblings had perfected the art of riding a bicycle, then I knew it was no joke.

I had to make out a plan to be a pro on this and in getting to the top it meant not giving up and ensuring my being consistent.

Long story short my bicycle skills has made me to be a pro at what am good at, am so happy that I was able at that age to keep on perfecting my bicycle skill but trust me, all this took 3 years to achieve, yeah you got that right ‘uzoma you mean it took you three years to learn how to ride a bike?’

If you set goals and you procastinate on them for too long this is the way it will go, enjoying your set targets requires you to build a consistent chain of thoughts in your schedule.

I have failed in a number of projects and thats because my mind thoughts did not reach to the maximum top

I want to share with you another power boosting lifestyle for you to reach your goals and that is :

 Fill your environment with desire boosters.

Let’s say one of your important goals is to write a book.  Get some poster board, and make your own posters that say, “I have X hours,” where X is your goal time to write your own book, and put them up around your house.  Change your screensaver to a text message that says the same thing (or to some equally motivational imagery).  Get some magazines, cut out pictures of people who have acieved  similar to what you’d like to have, like the likes of Chinua Achebe , and put them up around your house.  Cut out pictures of great authors too like Williams Shakespeare , and post those around your kitchen.  If you work in an office, then alter your office in the same manner.  Don’t worry about what your coworkers will think, and just do it!  They may poke a little fun at you at first, but they’ll also begin to see how committed you are.

Friends lets move one

Another very important tool you need to have to achieve your set goals is to

Surround yourself with Highly Positive People

Please make friends  with people who will encourage you on the path to your goals, and find ways to spend more time with them.  Share your goals only with people who will support you, not those who will respond with cynicism or indifference.  If you want to lose weight, for instance, get yourself into a gym, and start befriending those who are already in great shape.  You’ll find that their attitudes become infectious, and you’ll start believing that you can do it too.  Meeting people who’ve lost one hundred pounds or more can be extremely motivating.  If you want to start a new business, join the local chamber of commerce or a trade association.  Do whatever it takes to make new friends who will help you keep your commitment.

This is very key and will help you stay to the top .

Mindsets are contagious.  So spend your time with people whose mindsets are worth catching

There are other tools to help you stay at the top,

Dress sense, I love women who have a class of their own and who look trendy and stylish like a good friend CHAYCHI, 🙂

If you have friends that look stylish or who cultivates a good dress sense then spend some time to hang out with them, it is interesting to note that most people who have great dress sense are not people with genuiene characters, not to worry this can be fixed but  I believe you get the picture.

Always empower  your mind with positive information on a daily basis

Get inspirations books, christian books, motivational audios, go for seminars that will increase your knowledge base, feed your mind with useful information that will keep you to the top.

Finally, be good to yourself, if you keep this strategies in place I am sure you will perfect that trend to reaching your goals and staying at the top 🙂
